Later on, Gregor encouraged Garazeb Orrelios to help the clones hunt for joopas. When Ezra Bridger explains that they were sent by Ahsoka Tano, Rex welcomed them as friends. Gregor eagerly raised his rifle but Rex calmed the situation.
When Kanan Jarrus identified them as clones, Wolffe, in turn, recognized him as a Jedi and let off a few shots. One day, while trolling the grounds of Seelos, Wolffe was introduced to the Ghost Crew, who were sent by Ahsoka Tano to acquire locations of Outer Rim bases for the Rebel network. Gregor, Rex and Wolffe then spent their retirement on Seelos in a All Terrain Tactical Enforcer and occasionally hunted Joopas for food. The three troopers never betrayed their Jedi Generals as their brethren did.Īfter the Clone Wars ended, the Emperor retired all the Clones, believing they have served their purpose.
He later convinced Gregor and Wolffe to remove their chips as well, preventing them from executing Order 66.
Later, after his friend Fives died trying to convince him that there are control chips inside all the clones heads, Rex soon did some investigating, and found out the truth. However, his mind was damaged, causing him to have brief moments of mild insanity.
Though he was thought dead, Gregor survived the explosion. He in turn helped them escape Abafar, but was left behind on the planet and triggered a massive Rhydonium explosion to help cover their escape. He was later recruited by Republic colonel Meebur Gascon and D-Squad, a droid unit led by R2-D2, after they assisted him in regaining his memory. After escaping the carnage, his ship crashed on the planet Abafar, where an amnesiac Gregor was rescued by local diner owner Borkus, who gave him a job as dishwasher, his only pay being room and board in a run-down apartment. Serving with an elite squad, Gregor was reported missing in action at the Battle of Sarrish, one of the Republic's greatest defeats.
